Rely on the record as it stood.
What the record holds, what it never says, how to read it as of a date, how to cite it, how it is corrected, and who pays for what.
Eidos is the independent record of decisions made by market. This page says what the record holds, what it does not, how to read it as of a date, how to cite it, how it is corrected, and who pays for what. It is written to be pasted into a diligence checklist or read by an agent before its first call.
What the record holds
- Every decision a covered engine's market made, in one form on every engine: what it was for, what was known while it was open, what was decided, what capital moved, what followed, and who acted. The census states the populations with the document each count is read from and its clock.
- The same fixed questions about every organization (the diligence question set, version 1.0.0): engine, mint and dao account, treasury vault, spending without a market, holdings, revenue lands in, mint authority, team package, concentration, decision rules, admin override, market depth, legal entity and ip, off-chain liabilities, claims at the raise, programs and audits and exit path. Each answer carries a date, a source and who asserted it, or is marked unknown. A gap is shown as a gap, never as a clean record.
- Each organization's own statements, where it has made any: purpose, obligations, commitments and documents, in the organization's words, checked against the document it cites, dated, and left empty once past their refresh window. No organization has stated its side yet; any may.
- The reviews: Attack, Evidence, Playbooks, Claims, Market and Learning, each finding with its vector, how many of its indicators matched and its sources. A risk reading is a vector match, never a grade of the organization.
- The typed model: every object the record publishes is one of a closed list of types (organization, dao account, decision, proposal, recording window, finding, claim, window-parameter filing, trade, decider, diligence answer and control change), each with its fields defined once in the ontology and served the same way on the API and the MCP server.
What it does not hold, and what it never says
- It records no recommendation. The record takes no side on any decision, raise or organization.
- A missing input is never a low risk. Where forensics or market inputs are missing, the reading says so (
UNSCORED,UNKNOWN,STALEandUNDER_REVIEW), and a vector with a shipped detector that matched nothing readsNO-MATCH. - A documented vector without a detector is never assessed.
- Catalog-only and treasury-only rows are not decisions.
- Statements are the organization's, attributed to it. Eidos checks that the cited document says it; Eidos does not endorse it, and a statement changes no finding.
- Nothing here is investment, legal or tax advice, and the record carries no warranty (independence, terms).
Read it as it stood on a date
Every closed decision page carries “As known at the close”: a read of the record at the instant the market closed, part by part, with the knowledge time of each part and the parts withheld by name. The same read is linked from that section and served by the MCP tool read_decision_as_of. Most parts of the record do not yet store a knowledge time; the read says which, rather than guessing.
The bulk export (/api/export, a key with the export:read scope) ships trades, decisions, outcomes and series as dated Parquet with a knowledge time, or the reason it is missing, on every row. Every file carries its SHA-256, every read is receipted, and an export day stays fetchable for 30 days, so a figure quoted from one is citable by the file's checksum.
How to cite it
The record is licensed CC BY 4.0; credit it “Source: Eidos” with the address. Methodology states the forms in full.
- A decision
Eidos. "Decision title." Organization on Engine, closed YYYY-MM-DD. Decision record, https://eidos.software/decisions/<engine>-<chain>-<decision id>/ (retrieved YYYY-MM-DD).
Every decision page's Cite button writes this line, in text or Markdown, for the whole record or one named part by its anchor.- A figure
Eidos. "<metric label>": <value as shown>, as of YYYY-MM-DD. Metric <metric id>, https://eidos.software/api/metrics?metric=%3Cmetric%20id%3E (retrieved YYYY-MM-DD).
Every metric has a stable address, and the cutoff is the published run the value is as of.- An organization
- The review link each organization page copies, carrying the
review-linkref, so a reader's arrival from a proposal template is counted. - An export day
- The file's path under
exports/v1/and its SHA-256 from the manifest.
For agents: the MCP server lists 7 verbs (search, describe, query_objects, get_object, get_metrics, call_tool and pull_review_packet); every other tool is catalogued and reached by name. At most one breaking release a week, each recorded in the changelog; llms.txt indexes the pages.
How it is corrected
A mistake is corrected on the record, not removed. The corrections log dates each correction with the claim it rechecked; a corrected claim stays published, marked superseded, and the findings it touched are checked again. A reader who finds an error reports it through the contact on any form, and the correction is published to everyone at once. 1 correction is on the log.
Who pays, and what payment can never buy
Being covered is free and unconditional. Payment buys access and scoped work and never a finding; the 6 kinds of payer and what each may and may never buy are on the independence page, beside what Eidos never sells and every paid engagement on the record. No organization Eidos reviews pays more than 10% of all fees, and every engagement that reviews one is signed by a body other than the team judged.
- A finding, a rating, a placement or a recommendation.
- An earlier, private or faster reading than every reader gets.
- A changed figure, or approval of a finding before it is published.
- A review of a raise paid for by the engine or launchpad hosting it.
- A review the reviewed party can suppress, delay or edit.
- Inclusion in, or exclusion from, the record.
